Our Team
Craig has dedicated his working life to the shipping industry with over four decades experience in the dry bulk commodity industry.
In his shipping career Craig has been a Shipping Agent, Marketing Manager, Ship Broker, Chartering Manager, Vessel Operator and Ship Owner.
Craig also spent a number of years at The Grain Pool of WA (nowadays CBH Grain) where he was the leading international trader and market developer for the grain growers of Western Australia.
Craig has assisted various legal practices and prospective exporters in creating (and sometimes negotiating) various contracts; offtake agreements, joint ventures, sales contracts etc.
He is also the author of internationally accepted and widely used Charter Parties and is regularly called upon to provide expert advice on various blue water matters.
Saul Thompson has been actively engaged in the shipping industry for over a decade, primarily focused on niche grain markets of Australia, Black Sea, US Gulf and East Coast South America. Over the course of his ten-plus years of hands-on experience, Saul has developed the essential skills required to effectively oversee business operations.
Saul joined our subsidiary, Triomphe, at its inception in 2018, assuming the role of Chartering Manager. His expertise is concentrated on managing Handysize and Supramax segments, a responsibility he has continued to uphold alongside his Directorship within the Group.
Huang is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) with more than 20 years’ experience in financial accounting, planning and budgeting and has recently re-joined the group, having previously worked for Thompson Shipping Group for over 15 years.
Jessi commenced her career as an Administration Assistant for our subsidiary Seacorp, and swiftly progressed through the ranks earning herself the important role of Office Manager for the Group of Companies.
John has over 30 years of international shipping, chartering, operational and commercial management experience within the dry bulk commodities sector. John’s most recent management roles included Chartering Manager at Fortescue Metals Group in Singapore and Senior Manager - Chartering at Itochu International in New York. John transitioned to Triomphe full time in 2023 after joining Thompson Shipping Group in December 2020, having previously worked for Sea Corporation for in excess of 15 years in various senior management positions.
Lorraine has been employed within the dry bulk shipping sector for 15 years in various chartering and operating roles with Pacific Basin, AMP and Seacorp.
Justin initially commenced his shipping career with Seacorp as a Trainee Shipping Coordinator and over the years has climbed his way up the ranks and is now the Senior Operations Manager in charge of the Australian Agency Operations.
Vincent has over 16 years shipping experience and 10 years outturn management experience.
